A world in which gender equity is the norm requires the nurturing of women’s leadership. We’re launching Mentoring for Equity, an initiative for all who identify as women in the Jewish communal sector. This initiative will support Jewish women professionals and provide a broad, open program. By fostering mentoring relationships between Jewish women colleagues across career timelines and fields, participants will fight misperceptions of competition, give back to our sector, and learn from and support one another, while working toward a vision of a fully equitable field.
We matched a first round of mentors and mentees in July 2019. Applications are still open and we will continue to connect people on a rolling basis.
